“I have been serving as a Boaz Chamber Ambassador since 2008. It has been a privilege to serve with other business owners and citizens for many years. By serving in this leadership role, it has helped me with my leadership skills in all areas of my life. I was very honored and humbled to have received the Boaz Chamber Citizen of the Year 2018.
All the ambassadors come together with a common goal which is to make Boaz a greater place now and for years to come. To me this role requires a servant's heart. I feel that this group of Ambassadors have this very quality. We all have different strengths and weaknesses which make this group so diverse. By being such a diverse, community-oriented group, we take this role very seriously. That helps us make decisions and plan accordingly to make Boaz be the best it can be. It has been and will continue to be an honor to serve as a Boaz Chamber Ambassador.”

“The reason I became an Ambassador for the Boaz Area Chamber of Commerce, I am a mother of 2 boys and I try to teach them daily to do unto others as they want to be treated. I feel that serving as an Ambassador, I am able to show my boys it's a blessing and so rewarding! Not only do you feel great but you see what you are doing matters. All Ambassadors are coming together and doing what we hope makes Boaz better! We as Ambassadors all have many talents. I want to see Boaz grow and raise my two boys in a great town.”

“Ambassador: a person or person’s who advocates for a specific cause by promoting ideals. This definition describes the group of dedicated individuals that I have had the privilege of serving with for five years as Ambassadors of the Boaz Chamber of Commerce. Our mission is to present, plan, implement and work! Together this group (family) does this very well. Then the reward of seeing special events come together for our businesses, communities and individuals...PRICELESS! As a group we recognize our Creator, we celebrate special occasions, we laugh (a lot), have fun and cry together. Together our goal is to make Boaz a greater place to live, work, play, learn and do business."

“The reason I wanted to become an ambassador was to be able to give back to the community of Boaz. In the almost two years I have been an ambassador I have saw a group of people give all they have to see the city of Boaz prosper. I see how hard we work behind the scenes at different events not for recognition but because we love this community that most call home. Our goal is to see Boaz goal but at the same give it that small hometown feel that makes you never want to leave. I love being an ambassador and seeing the smiles on people faces at events like the Harvest Festival knowing that I had an hand in making Boaz a great place to live."
